Lets get Started:

What is an e-Visa?

An e-Visa is simply a travel visa that you apply for and receive online.

This means that the entire process of obtaining the evisa is done electronicly – from the application, through the processing to the moment you receive your visa approval via email.

e-Visa Application

You can apply for an e-Visa either through the government website of the issuing country, or through professional  evisa service providers.

Which is Better?

Each has its own benefits, so it ultimately depends on your needs and preferences:

A government website is usually a bit cheaper, since they charge a visa fee only (and no service fee). However, service providers are usually faster, and offer a more comprehensive service.

Using your e-Visa

If approved, your e-visa will be sent to you by email. All you need to do is print out your entry visa on a standard white A4 paper, and present it at the port of entry.

Should I Attach the e-visa to my Passport?

No. As opposed to a regular entry visa, the evisa is used as a separate document.

e-Visa Benefits

The main and most obvious benefit of the evisa is the fact that you can obtain it online. This saves you the trouble and hassle of having to visit the government embassy and wait in long line.

Plus, you can complete your application from anywhere – all you need is a computer and an internet connection.
